Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 3 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- Powdered sugar
- 8 oz. nonpareil (chocolate candy)
Directions

1Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar and candy.

2Chill dough 30 minutes.

3Preheat oven to 350F.

4Shape into 1-inch balls, roll in powdered sugar.

5Place on cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.

6Remove from oven and immediately place a candy piece in center of each cookie.

7Cool 1 minute and remove from sheet.

8Cool completely.
