- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/8 c. white vinegar, with enough milk to make 1 c. sour milk
- 1 egg
- 1 c. oil (Crisco or Wesson)
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Sift dry ingredients in bowl and then add sour milk, egg, oil, vinegar and vanilla.

2Beat good and then add boiling water; beat well.

3Put in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.

4Frost with your favorite frosting when cool.
