  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. Wesson oil
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • dash of salt
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring to boil and cook 1 minute the water, oil, margarine and cocoa.
  2. 2
    In mixing bowl, beat eggs, buttermilk and salt and soda. Add cocoa mixture and add sugar and flour. Add vanilla and mix well.

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
