  • 2 sticks margarine (melt chocolate and margarine together)
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/4 c. shortening
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk

Directions

    Bake in three layers at 350° for approximately 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
