- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine flour, sugar and soda in a mixing bowl and set aside. Place water and margarine in a 4-cup batter bowl.

2Microwave 2 minutes at Full power.

3Add cocoa and blend well.

4Cook 1 minute and 30 seconds at Full power or until mixture boils.

5Gradually stir liquid mixture into flour mixture.

6Stir in buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.

7Pour into greased 10-inch square baking dish. Cover with wax paper and microwave 8 minutes at Full power. While warm, prick surface with a fork.

8Spread with Chocolate Candy Frosting.
