  • 1 c. oil
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Bring to a boil the oil, butter, water and cocoa.

    Place the sugar, flour and soda in a large bowl.

    Pour the hot ingredients over the dry and beat well.

    Add the buttermilk, cinnamon and eggs.

    Bake in a large cookie sheet at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
