- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Melt caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk.

2Mix cake mix, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and butter.

3Press half of cake mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

5Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over this layer.

6Pour caramel over chocolate chips.

7Crumble remaining cake mix on top.

8Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes.
