- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 14 oz. caramels
- 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 3/4 c. butter
- 1 c. nuts
Directions

1Melt evaporated milk and caramels (use double boiler or microwave).

2Mix remaining ingredients (mixer may be used).

3Put half of cake mixture into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Bake at 350° for 6 minutes.

5Add caramel mixture and 6 ounces chocolate chips. Crumble rest of cake mixture on top.

6Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes.
