  • 1 pkg. brownie supreme mix (with can of chocolate flavor syrup)
  • 1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. water
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pkg. vanilla caramels (14 oz.)
  • 1/3 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 2/3 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts

    Heat oven to 350°.

    Grease bottom only of rectangular pan (13 x 9 x 2-inch).

    Measure 2 tablespoons chocolate flavor syrup; reserve.

    Mix brownie mix, remaining syrup, water and egg with spoon just until mix is moistened.

    Spread in pan.

    Bake for 27 to 30 minutes (do not overbake).
