Chocolate Cheese Delight

  • 1 c. soft margarine
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. Cool Whip (from 12 oz. carton)
  • 2 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
  • 3 c. milk
  • nuts or chocolate curls (if desired)

Directions

    Mix together margarine, flour and pecans and spread into a lightly greased 13 x 9-inch pan.

    Bake 20 minutes at 350°.

    Let cool.

    Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 cup Cool Whip. Spread over baked crust.

    Combine pudding mix and milk.

    Mix well. Pour over cream cheese mixture.

    Chill 1 hour.

    Spread remaining Cool Whip over top.

    Sprinkle with nuts or chocolate curls, if desired.
