  • 1 (8-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 1/4 c. sugar
  • dash of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 stick butter

Directions

    Place sugar, salt, eggs, evaporated milk and vanilla into a bowl; mix well.

    Melt butter and chocolate in double boiler.

    Add to other mixture.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake at 325° until set (about 30 to 40 minutes).
