- 3/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. margarine or butter
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 1/2 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Directions

1Scald milk; stir in margarine and salt.

2Cool to lukewarm; sprinkle yeast into very warm water in large bowl of mixer; stir to dissolve.

3Add milk mixture, eggs and 2 1/2 cups flour.

4Beat at medium speed until smooth (15 seconds).

5With spoon, blend in 1 cup flour and morsels.

6Turn into well-greased 10-inch angel cake pan.

7Sprinkle with topping (recipe follows), cover and let rise in warm place, free from draft, until doubled in bulk (about 1 hour).

8Bake in hot oven (400°) for 35 minutes.

9Turn out of pan immediately.

10Let cool on wire rack.
