  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. gelatin
  • 1/4 c. cold water
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate, coarsely chipped
  • whipping cream
  • 1 1/2 c. macaroon crumbs
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. softened butter
  • 1 Tbsp. water

    Mix macaroon crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, softened butter and 1 tablespoon water.

    Mix well; pat into an 8-inch cake pan and bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
