- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 1/4 c. powdered sugar
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- about 1/2 c. milk
Directions

1Mix together dry ingredients and cut in butter.

2Crack egg into liquid measuring cup and add milk until 2/3 cup.

3Stir liquid and chips into flour mixture.

4Knead 6 to 8 times.

5Pat into 6 x 9-inch shape.

6Cut into 6 squares.

7Cut each square diagonally to make 12 scones.

8Bake at 425° for 12 to 15 minutes.
