  • 12 cup butter
  • 4 -6 baker's unsweetened chocolate squares (melted)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 -2 cup powdered sugar (for rolling)

    In small bowl mix together flour and baking powder and salt.

    In large bowl, mix together butter and chocolate until smooth.

    Add sugar and mix again until smooth.

    One at a time, add eggs to chocolate/sugar mixture, mixing till smooth between each egg addition.

    Add vanilla and mix again until smooth.

    Add flour mixture to chocolate mixture in large bowl, mix well.

    Cover and chill completely.

    Roll in small balls approximately 1 teaspoon size, and roll in powdered sugar.
