Chocolate Coconut Bars

  • 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 c. melted butter or oleo
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flaked coconut
  • 1 14 oz. can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 plain 7 oz. chocolate bar (Hershey)
  • 2 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter

Directions

    Combine crumbs, sugar, butter and press in greased 9 x 13 pan.

    Bake 10 minutes at 350°.

    Mix coconut, milk, nuts and spread over crust.

    Bake 15 minutes at 350°, cool.

    In small saucepan melt candy bar and peanut butter over low heat, spread over bars. Cool until set.
