  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 cubes margarine
  • 3 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 c. cola beverage
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Sift the flour and sugar.

    Place margarine, cocoa and cola beverage in pan; bring to a boil and add flour mixture.

    Dissolve soda in buttermilk.

    Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Batter will be quite thin with marshmallows floating on top.

    Pour into well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

    Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Ice when cool with cola icing.
