- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 2 c. each cornflakes and coconut
- 12 candied red cherries, cut in quarters
Directions

1In top of double boiler, melt chocolate pieces.

2Remove from heat.

3Stir in milk and extract until smooth and blended.

4Stir in cornflakes and coconut until well combined.

5Drop by teaspoon onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.

6Gently press cherry piece in middle of each.

7Bake in preheated 350° oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until firm to touch.

8Remove immediately to racks to cool.

9Makes 4 dozen cookies.
