- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 c. C and H brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. salad oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- C and H powdered sugar (about 1/2 c.)
Directions

1Melt chocolate; combine with brown sugar and oil.

2Add eggs one at a time; beat well.

3Add vanilla.

4Combine flour, baking powder and salt.

5Add to chocolate mixture.

6Stir in nuts.

7Chill dough, then drop by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar and roll to coat. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated 350° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

8Cool on rack.

9Makes 4 dozen.
