- 1 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cocoa (more for darker chocolate)
- 2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 egg yolks
Directions

1Combine dry ingredients and add to scalded milk.

2Add beaten egg yolks.

3Cook over low heat until thick.

4Add vanilla.

5Pour into baked pie shell.

6Cover with egg white meringue and brown in 350° oven for 12 minutes or until browned evenly.
