Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 1/2 c. half and half
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift all dry ingredients together.

2Mix with enough half and half to make a paste.

3Add melted butter.

4Beat the egg yolks and 1 whole egg.

5Add beaten eggs and rest of the half and half and cook in top of double boiler until thick.

6Remove from heat.

7Add vanilla.

8Cover and cool.
-
9When filling has cooled, turn into a baked pie crust.

10Top with Superior Meringue.

11Bake at 325° for about 30 minutes.

12Let pie cool and sprinkle with 4 ounces grated semi-sweet chocolate.
