  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
  • Dream Frosting

    Sift flour and sugar into mixing bowl; blend well.

    Bring margarine, shortening, water and cocoa to rapid boil in saucepan; pour over flour and sugar mixture and mix well.

    Combine remaining ingredients and add all at once to batter.
