  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 sq. unsweetened chocolate or 6 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Directions

    Combine sugar, milk, butter and chocolate.

    Cover until boiling point is reached.

    Boil until soft ball stage.

    Add flavoring and cool without stirring to room temperature.

    Beat until mixture is creamy, thick and will hold its shape when dropped from a teaspoon.

    Then pour into well-buttered pan.
