- 4 sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans
- 4 eggs
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Melt in double boiler the chocolate and margarine.

2Add and mix thoroughly the pecans.

3Beat eggs.

4Add to eggs the sugar and flour.

5Add chocolate mixture to egg mixture; mix well by hand. Do not use mixer.

6Stir in vanilla; mix well.

7Fill cupcake liners 3/4 full.

8Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

9Do not overbake; will look soft when taken out.

10Forms own topping.

11Test for doneness with toothpick inserted in center of cupcakes.

12When done, toothpicks will come out clean, with no batter or crumbs sticking to picks.
