  • 1/2 lb. sweet chocolate
  • 1 sq. bitter chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. hot water
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 eggs
  • 18 ladyfingers or 24 macaroons or use sponge cake

Directions

    Melt chocolate in double boiler; add water and sugar.

    After melted and cooled, add unbeaten egg yolks one at a time.

    Add beaten egg whites.

    Alternate chocolate mixture with ladyfingers. Refrigerate 12 hours and serve with or without whipped cream.
