  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 oz. chocolate
  • 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Stir sugar, chocolate, corn syrup and milk until sugar dissolves then cook slowly without stirring to 238° (soft ball). Add butter.

    Remove from heat.

    When lukewarm (240°, about 25 minutes, add vanilla.

    Beat.

    Ices double layer cake.
