- 3 c. sugar
- 1 can evaporated milk (large can)
- 15 large marshmallows
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, softened
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Cook the sugar, evaporated milk and marshmallows on high heat for approximately 6 minutes or until marshmallows have melted. This mixture will cook up to the top of your pot, so you must stir constantly.

2Once the mixture comes to a full boil, reduce heat to medium.

3Add 1 large package of semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 stick of butter.

4Keep this over medium heat until chocolate and butter have melted.

5Remove from heat and mix with electric mixer until smooth and creamy.

6Add chopped pecans.

7Spread on cake layer(s) immediately.

8Hardens quickly (like fudge).
