- 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (5.3 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
Directions

1Combine chocolate chips, cream cheese and evaporated milk in saucepan.

2Melt over low heat.

3Stir in walnuts and 1/2 teaspoon almond extract; set aside.

4In mixing bowl, combine remaining ingredients with fork; mixture will be coarse (crumbs).

5Press half of the crumb mixture in a 9 x 13-inch greased pan.

6Spread chocolate mixture over this, then sprinkle the remaining crumb mixture over the top of the chocolate filling.

7Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 375°.
