- 2 Tbsp. white vinegar
- 2 c. plain flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. butter, soft
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
Directions

1Combine milk and vinegar; let stand.

2Combine flour, cocoa, soda, baking powder, butter and vanilla.

3Gradually add sugar and eggs; beat smooth.

4Add flour.

5Mix with milk; beat smooth.

6Put into 2 round or square cake pans or 1 loaf pan.

7Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until done.
