Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 oz. chocolate wafers, crushed (about 1 2/3 c.)
  • 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 4 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 c. well chilled whipping cream
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (3 1/2 oz.) jar Macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped

Directions

    Crush wafers in food processor. Combine crumbs with melted butter and press into bottom of a 9-inch spring-form pan.

    Melt chocolate in a double boiler over hot, not boiling water, or in the microwave.

    Allow to cool slightly.
