  • 1 cup butter
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 18 teaspoon salt
  • 1 12 cups flour
  • 10 ounces miniature marshmallows
  • 12 cup butter
  • 1 (32 ounce) box confectioners' sugar
  • 12 cup cocoa
  • milk

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Melt sticks of butter in a small sauce pan over low heat.

    Add cocoa to butter and stir.

    Set aside and let cool.

    In a large bowl, beat eggs until lemon yellow.

    Add sugar, vanilla, salt, melted butter/cocoa mixture, and flour.

    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.

    While hot, completely cover top of cake with small marshmallows.

    For icing, soften 1 stick butter in a microwave-safe bowl.

    Transfer butter to mixing bowl, confectioners sugar, and 1/2 cup cocoa.

    Mix well, adding milk until desired consistency.
