Chocolate Mousse

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla, almond or mint
  • 1 c. whipped cream

Directions

    Boil water and sugar for 2 minutes.

    Place chocolate chips in blender and pour boiled sugar/water over them.

    Blend for 2 minutes.

    Add egg yolk and blend one minute.

    Add flavoring and blend a few seconds.

    Fold chocolate mixture into whipped cream. Place in serving dishes.

    Chill 1 hour and serve.
