- 1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1 1/2 c. coconut
Directions

1Melt the caramels with 1/3 of the milk on low until smooth. Mix rest of the milk with cake mix and margarine.

2Press 1/2 of the batter in bottom of ungreased pan.

3Sprinkle chocolate chips over batter and top with melted caramels.

4Cover with pecans and coconut.

5Put remaining batter on top.

6Cook 18 to 10 minutes.
