Chocolate Nut Bread

- 6 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. sugar
- 6 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 2 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted and cooled
- 1 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 c. pecans, ground
Directions

1Combine flour, salt, sugar, baking powder and cocoa.

2Sift together into mixing bowl.

3Beat eggs with milk.

4Add liquid to the dry ingredients and blend.

5Add butter, chopped nuts and ground nuts; mix thoroughly.

6Divide dough evenly between 2 greased loaf pans.

7Let stand in a warm place for 30 minutes. Bake at 325° for 1 to 1 1/4 hours.

8Turn out on a rack to cool. Let stand 24 hours before slicing.
