- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cold milk
- 2 1/2 c. hot milk, scalded
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. heavy cream, whipped or 1 pkg. prepared topping mix, whipped
Directions

1In 2-quart saucepan, combine cocoa, cornstarch, sugar, salt and cold milk.

2Stir until smooth.

3Gradually add hot milk, stirring constantly.

4Heat over medium-low heat.

5Stir constantly until mixture thickens, about 5 minutes.

6Cool; stir in vanilla.

7Place layers of pudding and whipped cream or topping mixture in parfait glasses to serve.

8Makes 6 servings.
