Chocolate Pear Cake With Pecans

- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 None large egg, lightly beaten
- 1 x 14 oz can sliced pears, drained, chopped
- 2.5 oz pecans, chopped
- None None Powdered sugar, for dusting
- None None Vanilla ice cream, to serve

1Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease four 1 cup ramekins.

2In a small saucepan, combine milk, butter, cocoa and 1/4 cup water. Stir over low heat for 2 - 3 minutes until smooth.

3Sift flours together into a medium bowl. Stir in sugars. Blend in chocolate mixture and egg. Fold in pears. Spoon mixture evenly into prepared dishes. Sprinkle with pecans.

4Bake for 20-25 minutes, until cakes are cooked when tested with a skewer. Cool in ramekins for 5 minutes. Dust cakes with powdered sugar and serve with ice cream.
