- 1 stick oleo or butter
- 3 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/4 c. self-rising flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 to 1 c. crushed pecans
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Melt butter in pot on low heat.

2Add cocoa; stir well.

3Add sugar and flour; mix well.

4Remove from heat.

5Add eggs and vanilla flavoring; mix well.

6Add pecans; stir.

7Pour into pie shell.

8Bake at 300° for 30 minutes, or until side is set and middle is not hard.

9Cool; serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
