Chocolate Pecan Pie

- 1/3 c. melted butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 c. light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 1/3 c. pecans
- 3 oz. melted semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

1Combine butter, eggs, brown sugar, salt and vanilla.

2Beat until smooth.

3Stir in melted chocolate.

4Then stir in corn syrup until blended, making as little foam as possible.

5Fold in pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

6Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 375° until filling is set.

7Cool slightly.

8Great with vanilla ice cream.
