- 1 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
- 3 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs, lightly beaten
Directions

1Place pecans in prepared pastry shell; set aside.

2Combine chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan.

3Cook over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring until smooth.

4Remove from heat and add corn syrup and remaining ingredients, mixing well.

5Pour mixture over pecans.

6Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until knife inserted 1-inch from edge comes out clean.
