- 1 (8 ounce) package semisweet baking chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 14 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 12 cups pecans, halved
- 9 inches pie crusts
Directions

1Preheat the oven to 350.

2Melt chocolate and butter in a large microwave bowl on high for 1-2 minutes or until butter is melted.

3Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.

4Brush the bottom of the pie crust with a small amount of the beaten egg.

5Stir sugar, corn syrup, eggs and vanilla into the chocolate mixture until well blended.

6Stir in nuts.

7Pour into pie crust.

8Bake 55 minutes.

9Cool on a wire rack.
