  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 2/3 c. light corn syrup
  • 2/3 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1/4 c. margarine, softened
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 c. walnut pieces
  • 1/4 c. shredded coconut
  • 1/4 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 6 walnut halves
  • 8-inch unbaked pie crust

Directions

    Combine the first ten ingredients in a large bowl.

    Blend well.

    Fold in nuts, coconut and chocolate chips.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Top with walnut halves.

    Bake at 450° for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375° and bake 40 to 45 minutes, shielding top with foil if necessary to prevent overbrowning.
