Chocolate Pound Cake

- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3 c. flour
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. water
Directions

1Stir German sweet chocolate in 1/4 cup water over low heat until melted and cool.

2Cream butter and sugar.

3Add eggs, one at a time, creaming well.

4Add chocolate, flour, baking powder and salt.

5Mix well.

6Pour in tube pan and bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

7Let cool and remove from pan.
