- 3 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 sticks butter
- 5 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 c. milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream the sugar, Crisco and butter.

2Add eggs, one at a time. Add dry ingredients alternately with the milk.

3Add vanilla.

4Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 25 minutes.

5Cool for 5 minutes and then remove from pan.
