- 1 c. butter
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 6 eggs
- 1 pkg. German sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. almond extract
Directions

1Stir chocolate in 1/4 cup water on low heat until melted. Cool.

2Cream butter and sugar.

3Add eggs, one at a time, creaming well after each.

4Add chocolate.

5Sift flour, baking powder and salt, add alternately with milk to creamed mixture until well blended.

6Stir in flavorings.

7Pour in greased tube pan.

8Bake at 325° for 1 hour.
