  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar until fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Sift flour and baking powder together.

    Add to mixture alternately with milk and cocoa.

    Beat until all ingredients are used up.

    Add vanilla and beat until smooth.

    Bake in tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
