- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/4 c. sweet milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream Crisco and margarine.

2Add sugar; cream well.

3Add eggs. Add vanilla.

4In separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

5Add flour mixture alternately with milk.

6Mix thoroughly.

7Place in greased tube pan with wax paper on bottom of pan.

8Bake at 300° to 325° for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

9Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan.
