  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 c. milk

    Put in a large bowl and beat sugar, margarine and Crisco for 10 minutes.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add dry ingredients, alternating with milk.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours, without opening oven door, then check.
