- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 c. flour
- 2 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 c. milk
- 3 c. sugar
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Preheat oven to 325°.

2Cream margarine, shortening and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Sift together flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder.

4Add alternately with milk to first mixture.

5Add vanilla.

6Pour into a pan and bake for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
