- 1 cup prunes, pitted and cut up
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1-3/4 cup flour
- 2 tbsp. cocoa powder
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Prepare a bundt pan.

3Sprinkle soda on prunes.

4Pour boiling water over and allow to cool.

5Cream butter and sugar in food processor.

6Add eggs.

7Add prune mixture and whir about 15 seconds.

8Add flour sifted with cocoa.

9Mix until blended with on/off motion.

10Pour into pan.

11Bake 45-55 minutes.

12When cool, turn out.

13Sprinkle with icing (powdered) sugar if you like.
