- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1-1/3 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1-1/3 tbsp. butter, melted
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1-1/2 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 cup brown sugar
- 6 tbsp. cocoa
- 3 cups boiling water
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350F.

2Combine flour, salt, sugar, and baking powder together.

3Add milk and mix.

4Melt chocolate and butter together in a separate dish.

5Cool slightly then add to the cake batter and mix well.

6Pour mixture into a buttered 9x13-inch pan.

7Sauce: Combine sugar, brown sugar, and cocoa together and sprinkle over the cake batter.

8Carefully pour boiling water over the top.

9Bake 40 minutes.

10Serve warm plain or with ice cream or whipped cream.
